Without wanting to use expletives, this is f**k**g superb.
The vapor comming off the wings, the heat haze and the view up the engine nozzles just screams POWER!!!!

| Tremendous. Absolutely nothing negative to comment - a very unique approach. I believe the distortion is from the hot air coming out of the exhaust. Perfect framing, color saturation, everything. Meets challenge perfectly. 10 from me. |

This is an extraordinary image. First it fits the theme perfectly. Second, the vapor over the wings is perfectly caught, which is not easy. Third, the heat induced distortion powers up the image. And fourth, it's an uncommon jet so the subject is more interesting than "just another Blue Angel." I am an aviation enthusiast and know how hard it is to take extraordinary pictures of airplanes. This is superb!
They say no SciFi movie has ever won an academy award for best picture. And I say no airplane photo has ever won a blue ribbon at DPC. If ever there was one deserving, this is it. Best of luck! |
