Location: my home.

Galleries: Black and White, Floral
Date Uploaded: Aug 26, 2007

This is two bright pink and two golden yellow identical gerberas, trimmed/cut, and put together to form this square chocolate pattern.
I converted the origional colored image with "Gradient Map" to black % white.
I then changed it into greyscale, befors turning into these "sepia" tones.

I did a little bit of Cloning, to remove some distracting spots and marks. I dodged and burned to give it this satiny chocolate look...... ENJOY

Original idea very cleverly executed. I'm very surprised this didn't score higher.

Wonderful complementary shades here; well conceived and executed, especially at the picture taking stage (I never would have thought of cutting flowers!). Well done.

Shez, I love this - totally underrated. Looks just like a box of petit fours candy. I just can't believe this one didn't break 6.

I love your composition and the processing. The dark ones really do look like chocolate. It must have been hard to cut those beautiful flowers.

Nice work :) I looked at the thumbnail and, of course, was ready to hit the violation button. This is much more interesting than if it WERE photoshopped.
