Location: Emerald Queensland Australia

Aperture: 5.6

No cropping. I didn't get the shot I was after because my hubby wouldn't bring the bike close enough to me for the shot. The closest he got was about 30cm(1 foot)...at about 90kmh. This shot was about 90cm.

But we had to rush the shots due to it being 'school's out' time. This was basically a narrow road, so we had to wait for buses, school runs, tractors and the like getting out of our way before each shot.

Oh well...maybe next time.

I was initially aiming for him to have a lean on the bike, hence the tight corner....we were actually closer to the corner then what it appears because of the fish eye. But, because of the fish eye, the lean wasn't as strong as I liked. That is why I needed him to have the speed more than the placement in the photo.

i love the angle and the slightly harsh contrast!!! however, i find the environment more interesting than the subject itself... was that what you were going for?

a nice high key wide angle shot. rider is a bit smaller than i would prefer but beautiful cloud formation and excellent exposure make up for that. 8

Oh wow! I love wide angle you captured here. Was it a fish eye lens you used? I might have been tempted to crop a bit off the left so the motorcycle isn't so central. Other than that this is great.

Love the fish eye. Great composition. I wish you could have dodged the guy a touch, but ... well, basic editing stinks.

Great sky. 7
