Sorry, but I am going to have to head up the drive to have you banned from this park. Nothing personal. Great shot.

Yet another technically fine image that falls well short of great due to lacking creativity. Perhaps that are other areas for you to shoot outside of this refuge?

As a Utah girl, I have gotta say this is the essence of rural. Well done. I hope to see more photos from this park in the future. :)

It's great to have such easy access to such places. Wonderful.

Excellent image. You seem to find a different view each time.

This photo makes my heart hurt the more I look at it (in a good way). I live for my trips to the mountains where the elk are everywhere. If I weren't going back in 8 days (yayyy), this photo would make me so homesick for my mountains it would be hard to look at :)

Mega congratulations! This was my favorite #1 pick for this challenge!

I don't understand how people say this isn't rural! Living in the country, I remember many a breakfast where I sat on the front porch and saw scenes like this. This was my 10 and is an amazing capture! Beautifully done and definitely deserves the ribbon you earned.

Fooled me. :) Someone had mentioned they thought this was yours during the challenge. I thought this park only had elk, these look like mule deer.

FWIW, I didn't vote this challenge - just making an observation. :) Beautiful photograph!

I definitely need to visit this park when I get to London. Not to photograph it - you do that well enough for all of us - but just to see, enjoy, and relish the moments like this that you capture for us. I love that you kept them as silhouettes.

Richmond Park? I can't quite make up my mind whether this counts as a rural landscape in my own personal classification system. That, though, is quite irrelevant, as it is an amazingly beautiful and evocative photograph that goes straight in to my favourites.

Fabulous capture and truly rural in my mind. Such lovely light and great silhouettes.

Great silouettes of the deer against the fog bank. It looks like you converted to sepia. That's fine, but I'd just like to see what it looks like in full color with saturated grass and sky. 8

very nice but too much foreground, I think it would be better cropped with just half of the foreground and just a little bit more space to the sides. But this will score pretty high, good luck.

This has to ribbon! The depth is wonderful. The foreground and layers of trees in the background are perfect! The foreground is so golden and soft. And the silhouettes of the deer are so sharp. It doesn't get better than this! 10

This is lovely. The layers of trees blending into the background are gorgeous. I love the crisp silhouettes of the deer antlers. If it were mine, I might've cropped it a bit off of the bottom but no points off.
