Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Upside Down II (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D
Lens: Canon EF 200mm f/2.8 L II USM Lens
Location: Estes Park, CO
Date: Aug 5, 2007
Aperture: f/2.8
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/1600s
Galleries: Action, Children
Date Uploaded: Aug 5, 2007

Image submitted in compliance with the original wording of the challenge description. The camera was in "upside down" orientation. The subject is in "right-side-up" orientation. This is an image from a bungee jump amusement concession in Estes Park, CO. No rotation of image with software! The RAW image is in the same orientation, as the original wording mandated. If dnmc comments were made on this image, then those people are "out of bounds".

So, after the competition is over, I see there was a bias against images that met the original wording of this challenge, but were not literally upside down in the final presentation. (This young person was very much upside down!) So, live and learn. I entered this in good faith. I could have inverted it with software rotation. I learned a lot in this challenge.

Expression of her face speaks a lot, especialy how she's already bitting the lip. I also like th elines on this shot and how she's holding. I just wish there were a little bit of the chain on her left.
