Thanks for the votes and nice comments.

Special thanks and credit to these two great acrobats from Belorussia, who perform in one of the feature presentations of "Vuelo del Condor" by CircoEtno, certainly an spectacle you can't miss if you visit Lima.

Here some outtakes:

diferent crop version (not so good for dpc resolution and less suitable for the challenge):

This is a great shot and it's great has nothing to do with those nicely defined chest and abs ;)

You can trust the folks from Belorussia with a wee Nazi salute :) But this is the only gripe. Good exposure in tricky circumstances must be noted.

I don't know what I am more in awe of, the skill these two men have to pull of such a stunt, or the skill you have to photograph it so well.

When I see the lights in the background, coupled with the smoke and what looks like a dark stage I am awestruck as to how you managed to get such a clean image with what had to have been very difficult lighting to obtain a good exposure.

The shadows and highlights are so well controlled, the image is sharp and the colors are still very appearant.

This is just a fascinating photo when you consider the technicals in such a difficult location.

Congratulations on the top 5 and another oh so close to 7 score. In the end you have a fantastic photo, a great score, and a memory that will make it all worth it!

Well done!

Man, those acrobats just stun me. Like this pose, they do things I wouldn't believe if I hadn't seen them myself. Beautiful shot of them!

Love the color and the detail!! Not to keen on the light in the upper right corner. Your border works well. Are these your neighbors? :P This is a cool shot.

Wish I could do that! Not that I ever could... Wonderful tension and drama and wonderfully composed, with the half-cropped light and the smoke-haze to give DOF. Should win a biggie. 10

Suppose that's a triumph of sorts. Getting a guy to agree to letting you balance on his forehead.

Wow - quite captivating. Great colors. The lights in the corner are distracting for me - I would have cropped them. All in all a pretty darned good entry for this challenge.

Nice capture - Like the poses - A tad soft and I think you really needed to either keep all the light in or crop it out altogether as it's very distracting the way it has been cropped now.
