Coral is one of nature's sky scrapers. Millions of little animals live in it, and build it as they go. Another one might be an ant hill or termite mound. The perspective was made to look like you were looking up at something very tall. Coral is made from calcium carbonate.

Nice composition and clever interpretation of the assignment.

I'm sorry, but what is this? Is it man-made? Is it coral? I'm a little confused - perhaps backing up would make it clearer to the viewer.

Sorry, not my idea of architecture.

A bit blurry, although I can imagine it might be under water? As for architecture, eh.

nice lighting

animal architecture, imaginative; nice framing, good use of the sun to illuminate through the, er, stalks; my eye's drawn to the sun, but what's in focus?

Architecture or sculpture? still, pretty interesting.

love the play on light within the object.

too much backlight and not enough focus in the front.
Otherwise good shot.

Architecture el natural! I would have liked better definition.

Unusual target but fits the bill - interesting shot well composed.

ah, natural architecture, very nice, I'd expect more colors from coral though, but maybe that's just me

lovely light and structure. Could have better focus in the foreground

I think of architecture as something man-made, out of focus

Nice idea. I wanted to go after the whole concept of mother nature as the ultimate architect too. Would have loved to get my hands on some conchs.
