I think this is one of the most educational shots in DPC. I mean this in terms that this photo could really be on National Geographic (I'm just stating my opinion, I'm no editor and never was and I don't know how it works). If not there, this could be on any biology books dealing with ecosystems and such things. A lovely photo, a lovely story.

I know this is an old photo, so you might not get this comment, but just thought I'd point out that this is one of the coolest macros I've ever seen.

Sorry, I was sure I commented on this while the challenge was running... evidently not!
I think this is a beautiful image - the sharp crystals against the soft globes of frozen dew and the silver against the terracotta background work very well for me.
Lovely!

Amazing. DOF is very good, but I'd crop out the right section of the frame.

Wow... very interesting... I've never seen this before. Well, it doesn't get cold enough here. Nice capture.

What a cool subject. Gives us a window into a world we don;'t usually see - that theme is very NG. Composition is good, web seems to hang from the edges of the picture. The blues ansd oranges work well together.

What a great closeup. The frost looks like jewels on the web. I would have liked to see the portion at the right and back sharper, but that's a bit picky. Nice shot.

Exceptional composition on this one. My only liitle minor beef on this one is that it looks just a little oversharpened. I'm curious to know if you could've gotten a greater depth of field on this one. You'll have to take a 9 on this one. This is a remarkable photo.

a nice interesting idea, but it lacks any real wow factor to me. I think probably down to lighting and composition rather than your great choice of subject. 5
