 This is my son sitting on the branch of this really cool Asian pine tree at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle IL. The tree spreads out wide which diffused the mid-day light.

Good use of natural light and attractive lights in the eyes; strong diagonal composition and tight framing are good. The wistful look is appealing, although the pose does look rather too staged. That said, it is a lovely portrait.

Cute simple portrait. Nice colors and even soft light. He seems to be in a pleasant, light mood. Might like to see this in black and white or even closer on the face. Also could have used a better title.
