My second entry on DPC, still a bit unsure about it, but i tried my best.
Had some problems with the focus because i was using lowonenergy's camera.
But i'm quiet happy with the result.

If you were going for scary, you succeeded. Hands this close together, reaching out like this is often perceived as threatening. This is augmented by the hands being out of focus while the fact & body are in sharp focus. Add in the unreadable expression and you have a very unsettling image. This image makes very nice use of sand as the background.

Certainly a refreshingly different take on the challenge. My initial reaction is yes, I like it. There is something vulnerable,almost frightened about the expression. I am less sure about the perspective enlarged, upstretched hands; whilst they do lead the viewer in to the portrait, and are an essential part of the composition, I feel that they are a bit too prominent. All in all, good work.
