 I know the ocean SHOULD be the prominent feature, but the shots of the ocean I took were boring. I needed something else. I had some shots of the pier, but I decided on this one.

The web version just doesn't do it justice. The colors are washed out. I'm going to print this one out and frame it.

Nothing but curves. I also went back and forth about the bordering. I decided to settle for a small black border (4 pixels).

OMG, I have major sensor dust. I'll have to spend the money on some cleaners. I spent most of my editing time removing dust. I don't normally see this since I shoot wide open, but at f8 or more I see it.

Not too much excitement here. Looks like another sewage spill closing a SO CAL beach again. Overall though I don't see much I like in this phot. Sorry. 5

I would think that the prominent feature in this photo is the sign. nicely processed, looks quite filmic.
