Wow, 56 commments. I didn't think I would stir so much emotion with this one! Thanks for all the great comments. This was a fun picture to take. The Corn wasn't very yellow after it was cooked so I had to soak it in yellow die over night to get it more interesting looking. The "Saliva" is sprayed on water. I had to bite into the corn before placing it into the dentoform in order to get realistic bite marks. The dentoform was mine from dental school. All the work you see is how we practiced and learned to do different procedures.

| Yuck. Works much better when you can take them out, doesn't it? I tried an inside the mouth shot with a mirror. Never worked at all. Great color and DOF. Maybe needs a bit softer light to enhance the inside-the-mouth feel. |

| This is a dayum good and clever idea! It makes me want to cringe my face when I look at it. The quality of the pic is good, maybe a few harsh lighting spots but as for meeting the challenge it is one of the best here (9) |
