I love the movement of the bird's wings - it's a perfect counterpoint to the stable sense of the buildings.

This an excellent composition and I very much like the colour cast.

I really like this one for some reason. For all it's plainess, it DOES make me feel like home. Not my home, but somewhere that I could spend some comfort time!

Very interesting "merging" of (basically) two colours! Almost my favourite!

I like the idea of the birds there, but they either have to be clearer or gone. This has some interest factor to it, but the sky is just so washed out. I think it needs a little less exposure because if it is grey and cloudy, it doesn't really convey the right kind of mood with it being so bright.

image seems a bit washed out. would have loved to see the contrast/levels increased to strengthen the interesting image.

Like the brickwork and the composition. I think might be better without the out of focus bird.

I think you would have had a very interesting and compelling picture with the texture and diagnals/verticles of the houses if it weren't overexposed. Also, if you would have been able to get a different point of view so that the bottom left roof was out of the picture (maybe you could have zoomed your lens past it) that would improve it as well. Good concept and meets the challenge theme well. Going to give you a 7 even with the flaws mentioned above.

I like the POV and the repitition, but it's overall too bright and the sky is overpowering. Metering on the sky or other brigter object would remedy it.

It doesn't look like the conditions were very good for photographing, with the really blown out sky. It also looks like you had the wrong white balance set, giving everything a pink tint, rather than nice red bricks. I've forgotten to set the WB before, it's really annoying.

Nice. I would have preferred a shot without the birds zooming in.

nice view and the pink color is good but mayby a litle overexposed

I love chimney pictures and the composition of this is very pleasing. I am a little bit distracted by the washed out appearance at the top though ... I know that you took this in not so ideal lighting conditions. The capture of the bird adds a little bit of dynamism. Very good effort.

color seems very off. Nice image and composure, would have waited for a better sky, darker blue or black even 7

I think the subject is great but the sharpness could have been better

This just has to be English with those chimney stacks!! Pity the sky is overcast, a crispy blue sky would have brought in excellent contrast against the greens and reds on the houses. This is still good though, just unfortunate about the skies.
