This might work better shot later in the day, or earlier in the morning. This light is a little too direct.

looks more as if it is past ripe. i like the idea of a fruit that's not usually bought in supermarkets. well chosen. i am wondering though if this photo had a little more impact if you'd either zoomed in or cropped closer to the berries (for the life of me i can't think of their name in english right now). maybe a portrait format? this way, they get lost just a tad in the overall photo. -- gr8photos.

You have effectively captured the challenge by photographing these tomatoes... I think they are tomatoes :) In my opinion, the subject lacks punch or pizazz. When I look at this photo, I say to myself, "Yep... those are tomatoes." I am looking for an eye-catching view... something that intrigues me... some part of the image that I can get lost in... When making photos for the challenges, keep in mind that visual impact plays an important role :) - jmsetzler

placing this in the center causes a lot of green area that is not necessary to th compostion. Also the last to ripen is out of focus, and more focus is on the one that is past ripe.

This shot is way too busy. Hard to focus on the subject. 4 Jak
