 This is my nephew Gavin. One of the most incredible events in my life was witnessing him being born.

I took over 500 shots of him in various poses trying to get it just right. I had to use two table lamps for light that were about three feet away from him. This was a real learning experience for me, because I have never tried any type of "studio" photography before. I am really proud of this shot, but I still hope to get some honest and constructive criticism on it.

Used Channel Mixer to convert to gray scale.
Adjusted Brightness and Contrast
Used Variations to add a hint of color back.

I think I'd prefer not to see the mom's hand on the right. Sweet image and the warm tones suit it perfectly.
