Mean moody and magnificent, does not necessarily scream candid to me but would make a very good book cover or portfolio print for the subject..

I would really like this as a portrait. 9 as a portrait for me. I think the shadows and the light actually make it better. As a candid though it looses a point or 2.

Usually I like very technical shots, but I really like the feel of this one. I like how the eyes are obscured and many of the shapes are only hinted at with contrasting light. Awesome job!
