Used as the cover of a book, Reflections on Anthropology. Here is the URL for the amazon.com image -- it looks much better in person!

Still love this image. Writing another book, to be titled "A Fraction of the Feast: Cultural Anthropology and Human Experience." Looking to see if you had anything appropriate, as I think it would be way cool to use another of your photographs as a book cover.

The colours and composition of this are breathtakingly beautiful. It's so wonderful that you managed to capture this as a candid shot. Did you wait by the stall for a woman in an orange sari to walk by? Very well done. 10 - lisae

This is nice :) I love the orange colored dress... The only issue i have on this image is the background... I know that you can't control things like this in a candid shot, butt he background doesn't offer a lot of contrast for your subject... she sorta blends in a lot :) - 7 - jmsetzler

An interesting photograph.

Very nice photo. I had my cube-mate tell me if this was religeous or not. I think that since the lady and child have such darks skin, a little brighter would have helped bring out their facial features more. 8 Swash

Nice shot, the background behind her really makes it interesting.

Love the color and the composition, and though I like the photo overall, it doesn't "grab" me. lhall-8

My, that is a lot of orange! I like this shot a lot. Even with all of the orange, the subjects still stand out well against the background. Well done!

Beautifully saffron colored, but a little bit dark since the subjects faces could be a little clearer. Over all I like it. To me it is nicely exotic. (I live in Florida, USA) Nice job and good luck! 7 Gracious

Nice use of color.

Go Big Orange! That woman peeking from behind is a little distracting and somehow the white balance or color adjustment seems a tad off. I'd also like to see more of the environment around here. Nice job though. 9 ~indigo997
