This is just so exhibitable - I keep coming back to it.

The pigeons walking, a foot lifted with the men in mirrored stance - all that space - the clouds - the shadows... it's, dare I say, the perfect captured moment, the perfect photo.

Quite sublime and now one of my favourites on the site. I simply don't get its ranking, unless voters simply dissect a photo rather than feel it.

perhaps the voters felt the composition lopsided with the right feet down out numbering the left 3 to 1.

I can't get over how you've managed to capture the birds with one foot on the ground as well!!! Amazing!!!

What? No posthumous blue? I'd demand a recount if I were you.

This really is one of my favorite photos in the double take shoot, although I am not 100% sure why, because there are a couple of things that I do not like. There is IMO too much empty space at the bottom of the photo. I think the photo is actually better because my monitor cannot display the whole thing. Personally I would crop half of the empty space beneath the birds. It also feels like the photo is a little unbalanced. Maybe it is the angle of the fence that throws it off. I really do like it though, so those are minor complaints.

Lots of things happening in this image... Love the cloud in the top left corner. I would have cropped a bit at the bottom. IMO, there is too much empty space in the bottom left corner. I think it would have emphasized the relationship between the pigeons and the men.

Great composition of not only matching the walk patterns but also the birds.

I like the contrast of the calm in the foreground and the drama in the far background. Nice black & white capture and a good nifty take for this challenge.
