Your best finish (so far)!!! Excellent. This is a lovely picture, I really like the little star by the drop.

Great capture and use of DOF. Incredible detail in the droplet reflection! This deserves to do well even if we are getting tired of droplet photos!

Tremendous clarity, and the colourful background is almost an abstract in itself thanks to the DOF.
However, there are some small dots in the frame which may be dust or moisture on the lens ?

very nice, the depth of field makes this shot pop nicely.

Great shot. I like the little starburst on the lower drop.

Wonderfull clarity and colorful background. Like the cropping too.
The star reflection is just so well set and not too strong that it increases the briliance of the image while not taking overhand.
Good luck!

I think I would have cropped off some off the left side.. and made it more vertical, Great job with DOF, and the picture is intriguing! ILove the star on the side of the droplet... very well done!

Darn good photo, but we just saw this in the Motivational Poster challenge. Lots of dust here on the lense or on inside your camera. I'm counting atleast 10 spots that I can see at a glance.

I'm guessing you chose this photo for the sparkle on the lower left side of the drop of water? Nice touch.

hi hi !!! we can see you in the reflection :-), but more seriously, the sharpness is unbelievable do you have a telescope + a 99.9 mio pixel camera ??? :-). a 10 to me !

This is a great macro shot: great DOF, amazing detail and to top it off: nice flare on the water drop. But there is one major and one minor flaw: I can see your reflection in the water drop (major) and it could have been cropped a bit tighter on the left side (minor). However, you did a good job!

Hmm. I'd be somewhat sad to discover that the star of light on the end of that drip was digitally added. So I'm voting like it was real and hoping it's true, because that really is the a nice touch to the shot, but it would seem like a cheep trick if it were purely post-production.
Update: Glad to have heard that the star is legit. I hope this shot scores well (and doesn't get marked down from others having the same suspicions I had.)

Looks like a winner, or darned close to it! This is just awesome. Especially love the wonderfully colored background that is the perfect "presentation" for your subject.

Not quite natural with the sun shining so much and the top of the limb is dry. Hmmm. It's a great shot, but make sure it's realistic.

Love the reflection in the drop. i would have concentrated on that an enlarged it to make it more powerful too small and easily missed.

There seems to be clone stamp dots all over this image. Excellent choice of subject and good crop.

The sparkle is a very nice touch and I like the bright color of the back ground. How would it look if you removed a good portion of the left side of the shot so the drop would be in the lower left corner; might be more balanced. Good job. Jacko. 9

Beautiful macro. The little glint on the drop really makes this stand out. The background colors are also beautiful and add to the composition. 9
