 I may get DNMC'd on this one... I work in the environmental sciences, which deals a lot with the interface bewteen the human and the natural world. I didn't feel like lab coats and test tubes really spoke to the work I do, nor, frankly, that a lot of scientists do. But a photograph of someone making a computer model is less than compelling.

So this is supposed to shot the tension between the natural and the human world. Meeting the challenge as the subject of science.

The name is an attempt to communicate this in title length... Don't know if it works or not. Time will tell.

cloned out a car headlamp in the upper left, curves, USM, added vignette and haloing, some slight adjustment to the leaf coloring (veins were VERY yellow).

I like the simplicity of this. The lighting and DOF work very well. Not sure about the title.

The brightness of the ground behind the leaf looks wrong. It is distracting. I like the overall shot, though.
