 I happen to live less than an hour from one of the biggest astronomical radio observatories in the world, the VLA or Very Large Array. Once in a while I get the urge to drive out there to take some photos and this is one of them.

Edited in PSE5.
Adjust contrast, saturation and color balance.
Run Neat Image.
Resize.

Nice shot. Great dynamic range. I like the little dish way far away in the background. This looks like the VLA, but I haven't been there in a long time.

Nice depth with the two dishes. Looks like it's right out of a NASA press release. Except better than they'd do it.

The VLA is a miraculous place. I like the saturation work you did on the photo. Maybe if the dish was turned more it would be better. I like how you framed the second one in the background. The dish in the foreground, though, is a lttle too dark, and thust loses a little of its edge as the focus of the photo.

Certainly meets the challenge. I would like to see more of the sky (it looks beautiful) on the right, and maybe less of the ground.
