 Well, was in Sydney the other day so I thought why not throw in an opera house shot. I wanted to get there in the morning when the light was actually decent, but couldn't, so decided to go with this cooler approach.

Had a bit of trouble with the horizon - as far as I can tell it's not actually slanted, but, unfortunately, this was shot during peak-hour, so it was pretty much impossible to get an image without a boat going through the frame (which, in this case, creates the illusion that the opera-house is not horizontal).

Would have been nice to submit this a year or so ago before Firsty came up with his spate of beautiful opera house shots... I think a few people are pretty much over this building.

[yes, i also was flirting with a bit of a higher score, but also saw the votes drain out at the end...all the same, at least i managed to push a two-year-old photo off my profile page.]

Wonderful colour and negative space - Just has the feel it needs a small rotate as it appears to be tilting up to the right
