Fiddling with old pics as I have not new ones rights now - this one started as a move to greyscale mode, then levels and curves adjustment layers, then a film grain effect in Alien Skin, THEN a little vignette with the b/w styler plugin. A bit of everything!

I like the "old" look of this.

Nice edit here. If I were a small melancholic bird I would have a winter nest in your attic.

Lovely tones, and neat use of grain.

Nice. It makes my eyes climb demented ladders.

This looks like something Posthumous would like. And something that Xianart might have processed. In other words, you done good. :-)

this shot makes me feel like I am a small boy again, and it is night, or maybe a dream, either way I am lost and then looking up, and see only shapes and lines that scare and disorient me..

How dare you make this grainy and unfocused? People need to see every grain of these wooden beams! Don't you know that some people live in the desert? They've never seen wood. And here you come along and rob them of the experience. And for what purpose? To create a mood. To create a photograph that exists for its own sake. How terribly selfish of you. Why, this isn't a picture of a ceiling at all. It's an old tower of an old castle, where I am prisoner. The darkness is the future that I am compelled toward. You are becoming a teller of stories, the old woman who lies to children just to scare them into being good. You are practicing magick, and people have been locked in dark towers for that crime!

Interesting patterns here. I like the fact that you have a piece of wood to break up the symmetry. There may be a touch of extra grain, but I don't necessarily think it detracts from this image. Quite lovely.

The grain add so much to this image re the mystery and unknown.
I like this simple composition, and it works a treat here, in black and white almost abstract image.....
Great processing with this one.....

I agree, I like the old look too. AND I really like the film grain too. Nice choice of subject. Glad you had no new shots and you found this gem again.

I raelly like the processing. It feels like I am looking up in a creepy old attic, and I am about to fall down. (Then I may be pounced on by the grudge, or some stupid ficitional, yet scary character!)

Hehe! Despite my babblings, I really do like it. :)
