lots of stuff.

thanks for the really nice comments. i'm not entirely happy with this one; i really like the idea, but the execution isn't quite right. it just seems a little ... high school art project. i think i'd be happier if my hands were better positioned, but i was too lazy to reshoot. they just look a little too 'cut out'.

This is so well done. Just a magnificent photograph. It portrays exactly what you intended it to, in a stunning fashion.

You may not be thrilled with it, but I still like it, and you know I still LOVE the dreaded Monty Python pic. :-) Your top row has a lovely sense of balance in tone, by the way.

I don't think it's high school at all. I like the idea and you did a good job of putting it all together.

I idea alone deserved a ribbon, IMO.
You also have done a great job of taking the three photos here, and putting it together like this, re the processing.....
Excellent..... I love it.....

I can't believe this was 18th place. I really thought this should have been top 3 with how unique this was. As far as I'm concerned, this is better than the 3 ribbon winners.

Christian, I was one of your 10's. I love all the layers and textures here. I was also reminded of Ganesh. Very well done!

I like this interesting take on the triptych concept. But it is perhaps just a tad too cluttered in appearance.

I don't know how a woman would feel about this, but a very creative way of doing a triptych. 7

Very nice and the noise adds to the mood. Very good and one one of the best I have seen in this challenge.

I like this creative take on triptych, wish the figure in the middle shot didn't look so much like a cutout, though. Also interesting effect to have the images progress outward from smooth to grainy to even grainier.

Well, THAT is an out of the box entry. I like the creative framing a lot. Very nice way to show a family holding onto itself. The individual shots are very grainy, which I'm sure you intended, but I'm rarely a big fan. Nonetheless, I'm giving this an 8.
