My grandmother's little porcelain jug, my Best Beloved's grandmother's mixing bowl on ye olde favourite table in my bedroom (love the filtered light that comes through the big window there: see Table Shot Challenge and Ice Challenge). The "flour" is talcum powder because I didn't want to flour up my bedroom. Very quick shoot, although the idea was in my head all week. 12 takes. I wasn't sure if I would get time to set it up and take it before the sun set... probably going to be another upper 5 score - but I'm a DPC addict now and had to submit something.

I like the hazy, old-fashioned feel of this shot.

I like this composition, and the softening, old-timey focus for the background, but wish I could see more detail in the background, particularly on the left side of the image - would have preferred a touch more lightening in the darker areas.

Interesting... I think this could use some more interesting composition, but the lighting and subject is cool. Good try! :)

I lik ethe context within which you have placed the jug. Very nicely presented.

Love this picture, it has a beautiful soft quality to it, even with the darker colours. The dark browns really make the almost transparent quality of the glas pitcher stand out. ~10

I like the set up of the picture with the dust on the table (?). It supports the "age" of the jug. The real distracting part is the bowl in the background. too close to the jug and the top lines are parallel to eachother, taking away the impact of the jug. Good control of the light through the window

I like the color and lighting. A little more separation between the pitcher and bowel would be nice. Maybe a little back light behind the pitcher?
