Took this in the darkness of my bathroom. Real romantic, huh? It is the darkest room with dark walls and worked well for the shot. All I did afterwards was increase the blackpoint a little to make the black a little blacker and the candle a little softer. It just looked like simplicity to me. Like simpler times, when our only source of light was by candle.

Classicly simple. Not an easy shot to take either.

I like how the candle comes out of nowhere.

Beatiful & Simple shot. It meets the challenge, and I think it´s a good and interesting picture. I like the form that you photographed a common subject. 7

Yes, indeed, from the darkness... I like the way the candle does just that. Kinda soft focusy, which works. In this instance, maybe a boder could've added an extra umph. Not sure.

Beautifully done. I like the aura around the flame and the way the actual candle glows and then vanishes into nothing. Beautiful.
