| I really thought we would see this in the top 5 at least. It was in my top 2!! Great capture, you succesfully captured emotion, but it is still general enough that people can interpret the meaning for themselves depending on what is happening in their lives. I know that it touched me in a very personal way and I love it! Plus, your model is beautiful, in both pictures. Thank you for sharing it with us. |

| Wow! Beautiful lighting. I like the way the person's pose contrasts with the pose in the picture. It would have been nice if the framed shot was a little more focused, but a cool idea and shot never the less. :) |

Extremely well done photograph. Detail and setup are especially nice.
This photo...although beautiful and poignant in itself... is a true representative of a photo-journalistic approach to photography. A picture is worth a thousand words they say, this photograph says so much more.

Interesting. Why are so many hair shots being dominated by beautiful eyes! You could fall into those pupils. I hope the subject didn't shave the hair off for this shot. But... I hope she's not going through a bad illness.
If she is... I hope she recovers soon. I like the composition and the story it tells. Congrats. |

Wow. A very dear friend of mine has started her treatment this month and I was thinkking about her when this challenge came up and now I see this image. Very powerful. Her eyes speak loudly. Technically the lighting is nice and the crop is very intimate.
