 This is a nice little beach down the coast where I spent a night campling last week. Newtons Beach on Google Maps

Very little editing at all

levels layer to boos the contrast a bit
Straighten and crop
An orange/purple gradient map layer masked for just the sky and distant hills
selective colour layer to make the waves a bit whiter

And then because this is under expert editing I cloned in a few clouds to cover the blown highlights in the sunset.

POST CHALLENGE - wow - the vote scrubber got rid of 23 votes and I went from 6.4 to 6.6. Very pleased with that result.

I like blurred wave shots. The composition feels just a bit wrong. I think I'd like it with more width so the blacks on the left don't dominate so much. 6

The waves make a most perfect leading line, just totally sucking me right into this scene. Very beautiful!

Good looking scene with nice light, IMO would have selected the area from the mountain back and added a little more contrast...6

better brightness control of the top part would be beneficial as the sea is the main part of interest. my eyes keeps wandering off the image via the top due to the bright region. great bottom half though
