Inexpensive carved onyx chess set, incandescent light.

- Handheld, super-macro mode
- Tungsten White Balance
- RGB Curve
- Made mask for background
- RGB and Red Curves to background
- Resize for DPC
- Crop from right, top and bottom to 3:2 ratio
- Localized burning and blurring applied to part of BG/subject junction on the right
- USM at 12%/48 dia/TH = 0
- USM at 66%/0.6 dia/TH = 5
- SaveAs JPEG at quality 8/10 = 104kb

I get the concept but i wonder, what are these things? I also think that the area of focus is very small and distracts from your message/photo.

I've had this happen to me in the past. I can't see dust on my object until I edit it and sharpen. With advanced editing they could be cloned out or at least blurred out. I like your photo 'cause it's abstract to me.

subject not clear, as depth of field too small. interesting take though! and composition not bad, though background is a little distracting
