Shutter: 30sec

I went to this lookout hoping to get some good beach/sea/moon shots for this challenge. The results were fairly ordinary, so I began experimenting with my 'ghost' subject. He walked into frame, was lit by the flash from a second camera, then left the frame during the longish exposure required for the background. It was a cold, dark night and I was totally unprepared for this type of shot. No tripod. The camera was balanced on a park bench. Very litle planning - just a bit of luck.

The only editing was unsharp mask, resize and save.

After viewing this great entry (which I believe should have received a ribbon) it inspired me to join in the fun of the challenges. So look out.....Regards Dad.

Hmmmmm... a bit corny, really. The posing is bad. Just standing straight on with his hands in his pockets takes away from might have otherwise been an eerie mood.

I think this shot would have been more powerful without the ghost theme

Wow!!!! Very good composition and colors. Like this idea! A tad too cropped infront (of his feet), but does'nt matter....
good luck!

The clouds in front of the subject and the blown out moon are distracting. In advance editing this would be really cool.

Clean double exposure. (Lens cap or similar I presume)

It's different but he seems too out o place to me and he doesn't lead you through the picture your just sort of suck on him.

a little eerie, but to make it more eeie perhaps his jacket color shouldn't be so bright and maybe too much light on his face. i like the composition and moonlit water.
