| lighting is good, and the bit of desat works well with the drab colors and 'soot' on the girl, but it just looks like a dirty girl wearing a hat, tank top and suspenders. doesn't really say 'cross dressing' to me |

Wow! Beautiful Model! Thats the part where someone says, "she could sweep my chimney any day!"
as far as the shot goes, Like the lighting, like the skin tones, like the background. This reminds me of some movie where the little girl runs away, becomes a pirate on a ship or something, and gets away with it by dressing like a boy...until she gets found out by the other crew members and they want to make her walk the plank, but then that one kind hearted sailor saves her and they marry and live happily ever after.
...she's not a pirate is she?

| by far the best in the challenge. i'm going up to a 10. lighting is nice, exression is awesome. pose is right I like the dirt on her. the hat is lit well. my only thing is the black on her shirt doesn't seem to have detail in it, but I think the expression can carry through that. great job! |

this could have been much better without the soot IMO.
it is distracting.
you have a nice looking model with a boyish look and smirk and have her dressed kind of 20s retro but decided to try and convince us she is a chimney sweep? i dont get it. |
