While the billboard is interesting, the overall composition of the photograph really isn't. There's really nothing worthwhile here except the billboard itself, which is someone else's work.

This seems more like a snapshot to me. 5.

Take a bite out of crime. If the internet was the worst thing we had to worry about with our kids, it would be a good world. DARE, McGruff, and Smokey were all popular when I was young. Might not have thought much about them then, other than they were pretty cool talking animals, but the "older wiser" me sees that these were an important part of keeping us safe. This is a great childhood photo. lighting and placement are great. This photo is good without the head on angle. great job and good luck in the challenge.

Subject is appropriate. Might have look better if you were angled a bit more straight on with the sign. Lighting is OK. Focus is OK.

what have you done to make this already exsisting sign, be viewed in a new way?

Creative idea -- I might like the composition better if your angle were lower (looking up at an angle to see the billboard). The area around the billboard really isn't adding anything to the composition....that's why I mention that it might be good to experiment with how the billboard fills the frame.

The commentary in the title is interesting, but the photo doesn't say it all by itself to me. IMO, the angle of the sign didn't add to this picture; lined up nicely would have appealed to me more. Also, lighting changes could have been helpful, but then we can't expect you to control mother nature. 5, just-married

Nice modern touch you gave to this challenge! Funny how you get to think of this!

Nice snapshot. Well focused, framing works well enough, (gray sky or washed out? can't tell, so not a points issue). Not fond of the idea that your addition to this photo is the title and not much else. Probably should have cropped a little tighter, to eliminate the rest of the other billboard. 6 Swash

Not sure about the angle - either want to be MORE of an angle or properly infront of it.

This photo looks like not a lot of thought was put into it. 4 -lennier

I believe this photo does a better job of describing 'parenthood' rather than childhood :) - jmsetzler
