My creative photo for 'Furniture', is of a very modern 'Wicker' Patio chair, that is here in the appartment we are staying in, while in Sydney.

I really love the modern shape, form, lines, textures and color of this wicker chair, which just happens to be very comfortable to actually sit in. I am also very pleased with the DOF in this one as well. This is the color version of this image.

It is a close up shot taken with my new lens, my Canon EF 28-135mm F/3.5-5.6 IS USM.

Lighting is really spot on with this composition. I clearly illuminates all the interesting lines of this ordinary everyday object. The angle you composed this photo also heightens the visual interest and makes the everyday ordinary object and extraordinary study of lines, shapes and angles. Love the play of light and shadows.

I love this. I was at the Art Institute of Chicago last week and this reminds me of a photo I saw there on color.

That lens is a bit hard to take off the camera at times. It does a lot. Nice geometric image, BTW.

there is so much difference in this wicker and the other entry.....nice job in showing more to it than just a pattern....9

The simplicity adds to the appeal for this entry because you offer many layers of interest from foreground to background - light and shade - focus to blur - various patterns without becoming busy. While am hardly the paragon of ribbon contenders - my best to you! 10
