Another great shot - you chose the perfect lens for this. You certainly get about dont you! Nice deep DOF and perfect focus make this another fantastic shot. Cant believe you have only won a single ribbon.

hey, aiguille di midi, mittagsspitze, i've been there once, it was an amazing view over the mont blanc and the surrounding mountains.
and my mother almost collapsed because of the low air pressure, hehe...;)

Wonderful perspective. I thought my 10-22 was enough, but not anymore--this makes me want to buy a fisheye! Into my favorites!

One suggestion: I think it would have been good to clonme out the vapor trails. They are the bane of my existence while shooting landscapes!

Would've liked it more without the jet condensation trace and the power lines/ski lifts cables shadows. 8

! !! !!!!

Man, if I could give this an 11, I would. Not only do I love mountain shots, I love fisheye shots too! Combine them both and you have one of my favorite DPC shots, ever. I need to know the story behind this once voting is over...

Some people will go to any height to get a shot. This is a great looking shot straight out of a travel mag.

Like the fish eye feel to this, feels like you are on to of the world and seeing the earths curvature.
