 My son Skylar hates cooked green vegetables. He didn't even want to look at the spinach, so I was only able to get him to sit at the table for just a few minutes. (I wanted to re-shoot because of the glare on his face, but guess this will have to do.) By the way, the expression you see is genuine disgust. :)

Post-processing: minor adjustments in levels, curves, color balance, sharpen, brightness/contrast, crop, reduce file size, add border, save for web

that is some slimy looking spinach -- reminds me of my elementary school's "feast." Good color and clarity.

I think the lighting is what is lacking here. Other than that I believe it would have worked quite well. I think the green spoon is a bit out of place in the shot as well.

Oh the poor thing! I wouldn't eat spinach that looked like that either! Serve it fresh in a salad with a vinagrette dressing, sliced strawberries and slivered almonds. He'll like it then! :)
