Wow this is the second highest image I have ever entered in a challenge. Thanks so much for your support and comments.

I wanted to tell you all I think I learned something here. Jessica and I were shooting with another photographer and he and I were sharing the strobes. At this shot I had my 50-200mm lens on and boosted my ISO to 400 since it wasn't my turn to use the strobes. The light source is from the modeling lights in the background.

After reading some of the comments I thought to myself I should not have converted it to B&W. So I figured I would upload the color and you can tell me if you think it is better.

As you can see the questions as to the placement of the body are answered in the original with her hands on her hips and the entire body perfectly centered in the frame. I liked the Crescent in the title because it reminded me of how the moon looks as a crescent in the sky, sometimes it almost looks like you can see the dark side of the moon.

Just thinking out loud. Here is the original.

Very unique title, but the lighting and pose makes it worthy of the score I gave it. I think that the tiny tatoo is a bit of a distraction at that location. It's sort of a catch 22, if you show it too much, you'll get panned, if you hide it, it might not be the best pose. Good luck.

Awesome with the image on the right facing into the frame.

Very nice body landscape. I think the light is a little harsh though. Either lower the brightness, or reduce the aperture. Good figure by the way. 7

I'm not so sure about the pose, looks like it's a bit too overstretched. rotating it to the right might help that. lighting looks nice.

Lovely but I find the goosebumps make me think about how cold the poor girl was !! :)

Excellent capture, great use of lighting. It feels a little "heavy" on the right side and might benefit from a tighter crop on that side.

can imagine this works better if rotatetd by 90° clockwise and with more nrgative space above (left of) her and less below (right of her). light on her chest is a little hot.

Decent execution, but nothing special about the composition.

I like the high contrast and the hint of the tattoo on her hip. Nice line. Subtle and very alluring.

Nice idea. A lovely study of form. I really like the concept, and how you've used light here. I wish there was just a slight bit less negative space at right. Definitely not a lot less, just a tad, I think it would echo the form a little stronger if it were a little less. A beautiful shot though, very good job.

The camera angle makes this shot distorted in a not very flattering way. Maybe try to get a lower angle so the breasts don't look much larger than the legs.

Beautiful. Nice use of shawdows to show the body as an art form.

Would have scored a point or two higher but for the burned out spots....

I'm guessing this is Amanda. The lighting and model look familiar :-) Anyway, job well done.

There seems to be some posterization down in the lower body where the grays and blacks merge.

Lighting is stunning.. I don't care for the amount of negative space though. Still a great photo overall.

Nice lighting. Interesting choice to place so far left. I would have placed the model more frame right so now I am thinking.
