Thanks all for the kind comments. I really like taking shots along Lake Michigan - especially the dramatic ones. The night before this shot, there was a storm with high winds and blowing snow and waves splashing against the structure. The next day (when I took the shot), the result was these great ice formations with the sun making the ice really stand out against the dark sky. The dark clouds rolled in shortly after I took the shot... sometimes you get a break with the timing... Thanks Again!

Man, I really wish this were in another challenge. I think it is an absolutely gorgeous, just not truly "fitting" as an entrance. What I mean is ... if it weren't for your title, I'd have no idea that this was any kind of entrance and the image really needs to speak for itself. But in any case, kudos on an awesome image!

I love freezing rain photos. Nice shot. love the yellow contrast against the blue sky. I may have cut out some of the right side of the photo, as most is just blank space.
