| I know I've said it before, but this shot exemplifies everything that "is" photography. Absolutely perfect. Breathtaking. I can actually "feel" the fox's racing emotions and cold nose. |

| that sounds so exciting to get that close. Foxes lived in Missouri where I grew up, but I never saw one. Out here in New Mexico we have coyotes which are fascinating as well and also hard to get close to. People still shoot them here. sad but true |

I know I have said how wonderful this image is but had to write another comment here.
The more I see this awesome image, the more I love it, and I loved it the very first time I saw it, and still do.....

While reading Langdon's comments during his birthday challenge I fell upon this wonderful photo of yours. It is absolutely spectacular. My clictacamera photo group has huge fans of a wolf type huskie with piercing eyes we found two years ago. I can now challenge our "top dog" award next Wednesday during class. (and a little side note to everyone who assumed that this was not in the wild and voted your assumption, I would like to suggest that we all please be careful not to do that. It's not fair to the photographer in any challenge. We have to trust that the photographer interprets the challenge as he or she sees fit and simply vote on the picture, not on the assumption. it's always dangerous to assume in any situation in life, because there's always a 50% chance that we will be wrong.) |

Zoo shot? I wonder if Hahn23 voted you low on his preceived DNMC. This should be voted as you see it. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU CAN SEE A BACKGROUND!

I just have to jump in here and say thank you again, I can't believe these comments they are so amazing and I appreciate everyone of them! It was a freezing cold day when I got this shot and the hours spent in the cold were definately all worth it. A Big thanks to all again!!

What's even more amazing is seeing what lens you used and how close you must've been to the usually very skittish subject! I would've guessed you were using at least a 300mm prime lens to get so close with such outstanding detail. Very nice work, congratulations! |

Oh Ivory!!! I am so happy for you, and yes. . .this is the one I was sure would win blue and I hit that 10 button the minute I caught my breath and was able to take my eyes off this amazing photo!!
