Very nice, quiet, serene and certainly sacred to many a stressed mother. I'm not sure I'm thrilled with the crop on this one and the heavy black border on the top and bottom is very distracting. An 8

Ahhh, yes I agree! Lovely.

Your image seems to be cropped too much but I like the ides very inviting and definately a sacred place to get away from all the worries of the word
nice sharp image

ah.. how inviting. not sure I like the letterbox framing... but the lighting is wonderful and warm. I also like how you achieved the exposure without harsh glares and reflections. Well done!

Exactly. If I had entered, I was going to do this! Only difference would have been my toes peeking out of the bubbles. Interesting presentation. Most of the time I like only a few items in the composition, but I think your setting would be more appealing if there was some motion, like the water running and some towels and soap or other bath related items. As it is, the weight is all on the right, so cropping off the left would not have been a bad thing to do. I voted just to make a comment, it will be stripped later.

You've chosen the right colors and tones here to communicate the sacredness (grin) of this space!

Feels like a scene from a widescreen movie. Very clean (the image, well - and the bath!) Seems like a perfect set for an interesting picture to be taken - when the subject arrives.

other than the border, i like this. simple and soft. the border however does not add to the image, and actually throws the perspective off a bit. -Pedro

nice composition well done

For some a very sacred place indeed. Nice lighting, no glares at all except for the candle light in the tiles, but that isn't bad. It took me a few seconds to realise the bath is full and foaming. I hope you didn't waste that water and jumped right in there after the photo :-)

Romantic places; relaxing places, or barry white's favorite places, only semi sacred. I get it though- I would like the shot more if I could be sure you went to all that trouble and then did'nt get in :)

Definitly a sacred place...I thought about photographing my toiled, my husbands sacred place, but decided not to. It would have been cool if you had the hot water running, and somehow had some steam coming out of the tub...might have added a little more interest.

Great idea, great composition, cropping and color. All in all a wonderful shot. IF we were allowed to edit I might have toned down the light reflection in the tub but for the present rules this is a superior shot.

Interesting how the black bars channel us into the tub - but leave us horizontal room to move. Interesting choice. I'm not sure about cropping the plant at the top.

I would not normally have thought a bath tub to be a sacred place. But your photograph speaks for itself -- profound!

I quite like the framing in this shot. It works well and draws the eye across the photo. The colours work well and lend an air of serenity. Good job!

Beautifully composed and I like the framing. I would have used a small spotlight to add more definition to the foam.

very nice lightning

Really lovely photo, the lighting makes it. What surprises me is the unusual frame, those open ended black strips are excellent and really add to the photo. I would never have thought of leaving the ends open, as it were, on this shot, but it is precisely the right thing to do. Absolutely has to be in the running for a ribbon (I hope).
