Cool - I wasn't sure which photo to use but I am glad I used this one. It was last minute. top 46 percent of '06 is ok by me since i really have little idea of what I am doing with my camera.

Thanks to all the people with their positive comments - glad to see i didn't get a single 1 or a 2

Now as for SKIPROW - he say's "shame on me" - well all I can think is that although he is a very good photographer I would not want to be one of his children. He has no idea what my original photo looked like and as such he should just have left his comment to "I hate it". I can only guess that he is one of my threes.

Skiprow you are not my father or anyone I care to be shamed by - by your comment it shows that you don't understand what this website is for-
Its a learning site - maybe some constructive crit in the future but "shame on you" is one hell of an asshole statement, so alas I say

Shame on Skiprow for contempt prior to investigation.

sorry, but i absolutely hate what you've rendered here. your processing has smoothed out every bit of character that the ages etched into those stones, leaving it feeling like nothing more than a computer-animated backdrop for a sophisticated remake of the flintstones. shame on you.

Amazingly rich color tones and textures. Well captured. Congrats!

This looks absolutely wonderful - a really interesting scene with super light. I would love to be able to see it larger to enable me totake in more of the detail.

Looks like either Zion or Bryce Canyon? I think the sunlight/contrast ine background is taking away from the focus on the cliff.
