 This is a 6 second exposure, allowing the leaves to swirl around creating the pattern in the water. I have others with the whole circular pattern, but I really loved the look of the water you see best in this one (otherwise, you are further away from it).

I have a different shot from the same day (brighter and includes more of the swirlpool) which is available as a print (and as a beautiful canvas, if you are interested!):

this is beautiful, and i love the colors. however, the area just to the left of the falling water just doesn't look right--as if it were over-sharpened. that might not be what caused it to look the way it does, but that's beside the point.

At first glance, I nearly skipped straight on past but actually, this shot has a strange permanence that made me stop. The light has a wonderful quality and the long exposure has managed to stress both the stillness and the movement at the same time! Colours are lovely. Lovely.

I am rarely sold on this long-exposure waterfall shots, but the rusty colors and the shadows make this an pleasant if slightly eerie shot. The upper right corner is a little too dark, it comes across as vignetting.

The sharpening, dodging and burning have turned this photo into painterly art - but it moves better than oil. The swirl is marlvelous in the bottom third of the composition - balanced nicely by the white rush of the falls and the shadowy leaves above. Maybe a bit too dark on the top right. 8

Marvelous colors, lighting, and composition. Would be a 10 from me, but what ruins it is the unnatural texture on everything else than the waterfall. It looks like a photograph of a waterfall inserted into a weird pointillist landscape painting. 7

Beautiful colours. The top right corner is annoying me for being so dark - my eyes keep getting drawn up there as if they're trying to draw out more detail. Otherwise this is excellent.

Well done, bute a little bit of soft focus in the background would have been better. But thats just me. Nevertheless a great shot, thanks for sharing and good luck in the challenge!

I find the lighting of this on to be a bit odd, the upper right being dark and the upper loft being more lit bothers me a bit, the swirl and the colors in the water are really nice. Also you did a good job exposing the falls as well.
