This one only got a handful of views so is probably safe to post without others knowing who shot it... I wanted to do my Fly pic but I thought it might be a bit too recognizable. Hard to decide. REALLY hard to decide.

Processing steps: Major crop to isolate the face (almost a full body shot in the original

used about three layers using the hue/saturation tool to desaturate and oversaturate mostly using the reds and yellows. I posted the steps a long time ago in a much ignored thread, but can't seem to find it. I believe it was:

desaturate bottom layer, oversaturate reds in layer above, and in the top layer desaturate yellows and reds.

added a bit of sharpening and the border and boom - done.

for more information on processing see this thread.

Post challenge - thanks for the comments, I will return them in the next few days. I have used the check box to make sure I don't forget. Pardon the delay.

I like the tones and semi-desaturation.
Think it helps with the girls pose to create the feel of 'anguish'.

Ouch. Perfect angle on this one. It emphasizes her sorrow and shows us why she is crying.

Best: Wow, you really captured the emotion...I said that before I even saw the wound...
Worst: Exposure control of the wound...subject behind head...
