Day 3
Lots of PP on this one
Not sure about the washed out left foot...

I took a small-ish piece of glass from a picture frame and held it between my fingers to push it against my face to get the smushed look on my cheek. If I ever did I reshoot, I'd like more of the smush effect.

The jar was originally much taller and skinnier, and I wanted to completely fill it, so I squished it in PP.

Dodged a LOT in the background, and a fair amount inside the jar.

Oh, no, no ,no! This is all wrong! The perspective is off, the lighting too hot, and the color too muted. This sucks. Worst I've ever seen!

...per your request: "be brutal" - I hope you didn't mean "brutally honest. :)

Ok, honest: I LOVE this! the ONLY nitpick I would have is your right hand is almost too white to see. It gets lost in the background a little. But this one is going in my fav's!

...I hope you punched air holes in that lid! :P

Brutal, eh? Well, couldn't you're pictures have something more, say..., creative in them? How about using some real editing skills? Are you expecting us to believe you're really in that jar? Amazing shots don't fall off of trees, you know. Now, why don't you go back and read only the highlights?

Ok to add some critiques... parts seem blown out but I think that's mostly from putting yourself under the glass refelctions... so that's not bad at all.

Might be cool to see this with you reaching upward so it doesn't ruin the illusion that you are inside by showing you aren't really touching the glass.

This is great! I agree with Router, you should have shot this a week earlier and put in the Harsh environments challenge.

I have lots of input - maybe too much. :-)

Not a lot of time now, but if you're interested I'd be glad to illudicate (is that how you spell that?).

I have to do this kind of thing all the time in my work, but with moving video. So I have some ideas.

let me know and I'll be back when I have more time

Really great shot as usual Diane. The colors are good and so is your body positioning save that your hands and arms don't look like they are pressing against the glass and your left elbow is kind of coming through the side.
But really, great shoot and good creativity to get the face smush.

Very nice processing!

The smush on your cheek really sells that you're in there. Were you really pressed up against some glass or didja use smudge or some other tool?

Oh my! Where did you find a jar that big? Or are you that small? ;)

This is fantabulous!
