Rissa, This is just so underrated. I can not believe this placed at only 430 out of 705.

Unbelievable!

Why do I visualize her smoking a Virginia Slim? I like this composition a lot, especially the position of the front legs. The high contrast right angle triangle to the left of her rear most leg I could do without. That's my only nit pick. And I do believe this would only work B&W.

Interesting take on, in this challenge, a moderately common subject - the zoo animal. The model-esque pose of the front legs is intriguing, and the lines throughout add a sense of understanding.

Will you please consider making a print of this available? My mother's entire room at home is decorated in a giraffe theme, and I would love to share this with her.

Hahaha, Excellent!!! I simply love everything about this. Did you ever consider a wide-angle lens? (Kidding). This is the perfect example of how and when to break the rules of composition. I'm giving this a 9. High marks from me. Good luck in this very competitive challenge.
