The shadow makes the image, only thing I'd like to see different is the child's head on the right-side contained in the brick shadow.

I like how the shadows turned out!

I really like this photo. one small nitpick....the vertical shade line would look better if it didn't have the notches in it. I think it would be less distracting from all of the flowing lines if it were a smooth edge.

nice work with the lighting. 6

I really like how the shadow and figurine create a literal "dance dance" visual. I wonder if the POV could have been adjusted a few inches to the left, such that the figurine were fully set against the background shadow, with the figurine shadow still set against the white wall and the rear corner of the base platform potentially converged with it's shadow ... creating a nich point between the two. Regardless, this is well done for the the cong title.

What would it have looked like with just the shadow? I wonder...

cool use of shadows... but should have eliminated any shadows that were not from the statue...

would have been nice to take a photograph only of the shadow

I like the use of the shadow to make this a more interesting shot. Otherwise it would have just been a good product shot (like on eBay). I think it might have even had more impact if you hadn't included the wall's shadow, so that the background was all white, giving more emphasis the statue itself. But the way it is, it has a nice ying-yang feel. The sharpness of the shadow on the wall is very well done.

Very creative. The shadow is beautiful and gives a real sense of motion. 8.

Nice lighting. I like how the shadows seem more the same size because of the slanting light. I like how you places the sculpture on a darker background, too.

Lovely shadow work here. You know what I would have actually experimented with? Try cropping the actual monument out of the picture and play with contrast in just the shadow itself, with generous white space above it.

cool!

Nice idea. But it would be great if the shadow on the right side wouldnt be there.

I think it's really cool how the shadow cast on the wall presents a different version of the sculpture. Well done....love the contrast!
