 I had just purchased my Canon 70-200mm F4L from 21.gif Ecce Signum when I was given the chance to go on a Big Cat Day. I also took the opportunity to shoot RAW for the very first time that day and this image was my favourite from the 'shoot'.

Editing: Converted from RAW, slight levels and saturation tweak, resized, sharpened.

6 - Nice - but less 'space' at the top, while still retaining some for balance, make this even better in my opinion. Looks nice and sharp, so if the quality is/was there, perhaps a variation in cropping (tighter, 'somewhere'), may have brought out more detail in the leopard(?). But I realize, given your title, you may want it composed this way.

I've seen this shot before and i love it just as much if not a little more now.
I think this is probably the best cat shot i've seen, and most of that is due to perfect exposure, composition and the cats pose. It's brilliant.

This is so incredibly beautiful! The composition is perfect and the contrast between the golds and deep greens is just stunning! Even with so much excellent competition, this one is one of my very favorites in this challenge!
