Love the use of negative space.

Original idea ... well executed.

yesss! great! 9

Unusual and dramatic...I'm sure you'll get hammered for it not being a "real" portrait...but I think it's captivating. I also happen to like the grain in it..something about black and white and grain...a kind of marriage made in the 70's.
01/13/2007 06:03:43 AM
Interesting but not really a portait showing any aspect of a person.
01/12/2007 10:14:15 PM
this is stunning.
01/12/2007 06:00:23 PM
Creative!
01/12/2007 05:58:47 PM
nice concept

Cute but ... nice concept but a pretty void portrait and too much dead space for my taste. I wish you had cropped into the right bottom quarter of the photo more.
01/12/2007 10:41:31 AM
great concept but I think you should have used more of the frame for your subject to get more reflections in there...I see a great shot surrounded by a load of noise
01/12/2007 03:49:57 AM
very cool and effective. crop could be tighter though :( 7
01/11/2007 10:57:18 PM
very cool image
01/11/2007 10:22:54 PM
Okay, it's interesting but.... as a "protrait" I would dearly love to get a look at her face.
01/11/2007 04:14:08 PM
Nice use of negative space...like the perspective in this, interesting shot actually.
01/11/2007 04:06:02 PM
mmm i don't know if it is legal but it is wonderful :)
01/11/2007 02:28:06 PM
Interesting idea....but, where'd she go? *smile*
01/11/2007 12:31:43 PM
always liked this idea. Often it is pretty cool if each rectangle is tilted a bit from the other, so it sort of cascades in - I guess you did this one in photoshop, rather than shooting multiple frames & printing ? It looks very consistent.
01/11/2007 12:16:43 PM
Cool.
01/11/2007 11:18:52 AM
i love the composition idea but it would have been nice to be a bit closer and maybe a vertical
01/11/2007 05:39:15 AM
And the camera is where??
01/10/2007 05:25:57 PM
DNMC for me...a portrait? a pictorial representation of a person usually showing the face
01/10/2007 02:47:15 PM
Different, original, and excellent. Too grainy? Who cares, thats not where I'm looking. Everything here works, well done. 8.
01/10/2007 12:35:51 PM
Nice and original - don't know if I would call it a portrait though. But I like it anyway - 7

Cool and creative shot. I'm not a big fan of the noise.
01/10/2007 07:32:05 AM

01/10/2007 06:24:25 AM
its a good shot, but not entirely sure if its a portrait..
01/10/2007 06:04:25 AM
