Basically stayed home, so the TV was my background and my glass was the subject. Got reasonable bokeh and nice colour, so who knows how this will go.

Not much editing. Just a crop, curves and noise reduction really. Cloned out a few spots on the glass. The vignetting was not burned in, it was like this.

POST:
well, I got to 6.2XXX, so that's OK...what a high scoring challenge this was! I mean, 22nd place with a 6.2XXX is amazing...well done everyone.

I really like this image in any case. Thanks for all the great comments.

I thought this image had been disqualified when I didn't see it in top ten or even top 20. This should have gotten a ribbon, it's the best image in this challenge imo.

Neat idea but background is a liitle blown out, Better DOF would have enhanced the picture

Beautiful, shame about the droplets at the top of the glass but only a minor thing, Good Luck, 9

I like this shot, almost good enough to be an advertisement shot for a high class client. I like just about everything but that the fireworks are so bright they draw my eye away from the glass, I would have darkened the backround just a bit and tried eliminating blown highlights in it but like I said, a great shot and one of the best in the challenge. 8

Nice idea. Would've worked better if you'd managed to get some refraction happening through the glass capturing some detail of the starburst behind.

NICE! What a great idea. You actually "composed" a fireworks shot. LOVE the hot pink/fuschia. Nice diagonal line too.

The second image I've seen in this challenge with this idea and this is a much better one, and more, this is the best image I've seen in this challenge so far (68% done). Great composition and idea. 9 from me. Happy new year and good luck!

I forgot to add:
I like this image the most in this challenge.

Nice composition, inclusion of contrasting elements that come together and work well. Good tones and colors - 8

Good idea, I actually prefer this one over the other "similar" picture :)
