At Surn Point - a long narrow spit of land bordered by the mouth of the Humber Estuary on one side and the North Sea on the other. This day was windy, grey, and bitterly cold; the seal had come from the North Sea and was trying to find some shelter - it ended up digging a trench in which to lie down.

Awwww. ..he's so cute. He looks like he's having fun playing in the sand. I love wildlife shots taken in their natural environment.

Spurn Point is one of my favourite places. For seals you can also try Donna Nook down on the Lincolnshire coast. I always try to get the camera down low when taking seals. Shots taken from eye level have more impact. Good attempt though.
