The Falkirk Wheel is a fascinating structure and you certainly captured a nice view of the place. The composition and colors are great, but those reflections... Wow! Congratulations on your ribbon!

Congrats on 2nd place.

Why would anyone vote a 1!
This is a awesome photo.

You should have gotten nothing under a 6 for sure and I would have given it a 9 or 10 if I had voted.

stunning...but why didn't you save this at 640 pixels? 560x560 is too small to judge properly for sharpness etc the colours and comp are great...but, please save at the full size in future...just askin'

maybe I'm too conservative and boring, but taking into consideration that you focused on the cricles, directin camera exactly in the middle of the circles would've give even better result. Probably there was no possibility, as I can see you tried to keep it this way. I love the colour and detail of the circles. What is it BTW? 8.

Very strong imagery... Nice colors. Slightly soft focus, slight horizon tilt & blown highlights ultimately detract for me.

me thinks I spy a winner. However, I do think the border is much too thick and maybe the inner color should be purple instead of white
